BSF College Tours
The annual regional college tour is the staple event for Building Strong Futures, Inc.
Each year, the board travels across the U.S. with up to 35 students to provide exposure to colleges and universities all over the nation.
Visiting both HBCUs and PWIs, we are proud to share that we have taken our students to more than 15 institutions across Florida, Louisiana, Tennesee, and the DMV.
Building Strong Futures recognizes the important role higher education plays in advancing and developing our youth and we’re committed to continuing this program.
While most of our activities are educational in nature, we allow our youth to be kids and have fun with our program. This testimonial is filled with both sincere feedback and laughs that will stay with us as we move from the past to the present and the future. Hear from our students!

“The Building Strong Futures(B.S.F.) Organization is the reason why I love HBCUs and attend one now. I attended two, summer, college tours with the program, and we toured HBCUs and PWIs. I am very grateful for those college tours, as I was able to see the college lifestyle. I saw the academic side of college, financial aid, Greek life, athletics, and also heard college stories from our B.S.F mentors. Aside from the college tour, B.S.F. also gave me the tools to succeed in the business world. We were given skills on how to ace a job interview, we were exposed to different careers, and we even took an etiquette class. Building Strong Futures does exactly what their name says. They Build Strong Futures. I am currently a senior studying Business Marketing at Benedict College in Columbia, South Carolina. I received a full-ride scholarship to my institution. I am very active on my campus. I'm a member of the Psi Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc; a member of the student advisory board for the School of Business and Entrepreneurship.
